Chih-Chin Lai received the B.S. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from the National Central University, Taiwan, in 1999. He is currently an Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering, National University of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. His research interests include visual information computing, evolutionary computation, and information retrieval.
He is a member of IEEE (Computational Intelligence Soceity; System, Man, and Cybernetics Society; Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society; Signal Processing Society) and a life member of TAAI (Taiwanese Association for Artificial Intelligence).
